| 1 | Leicester City Learning Centre 8 June 2010
The focus for this session was Moodle end of year Admin exploring the various backup options and standard Moodle backup procedures. We looked at why you should backup, what to backup, how it should be done and who should do it.
There are Moodle Docs on Backing up available but each college has different proceedures depending on how they use Moodle and the the levels of expertise of the staff involved.
There was a demo of the multiple file upload and the Office Add in and an overview of the presentations from Moodle Moot 2010 followed by an overview of Moodle 2.
Colin Kistruck from Grantham College rounded off the forum with a demo of the Grade Book tweaks he has coded to produce a very impressive grading and tracking system for learners. To contact Colin for more information email ckistruck@grantham.ac.uk. Just by opening the Grantham Moodle Colin also demonstrated other good practice with the use of Xtranormal State in Xerte, see links below to related RSC resources as promised.
Thanks again to all delegates for making this another excellent MUG forum for sharing ideas and developments.
